"Error: No Internet on Network" when connecting to 2.4Ghz Wi-Fi

What usually causes this error message? “Error: No Internet on Network”.

When I try to connect my parents’ relay to the 2.4Ghz Wi-Fi network at their home, I get this error message. However the relays work fine on the 2.4Ghz Wi-Fi network at my home. Oh, and my old RW phone and an old Chromebook work fine on their 2.4 Ghz Wi-Fi.

I’m curious what to look for when I visit them and start serious debugging.

Thanks for any advice.

First thing to try would be rebooting the router. If that doesn’t work, maybe try disconnecting or turning off some other devices. It’s possible your router has a device limit. Let us know if you still run into issues after that.

Hi @Andi_B, our problem was fixed another way. My parents canceled their home internet service from Comcast, and got new service from Verizon FiOS. Both of their relays connected immediately to the new Wi-Fi router. Problem solved!
Thanks for your suggestions.
